We are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer with strong expertise in Okta, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange to manage and support our enterprise identity and messaging platforms. The role involves administering user accounts, configuring authentication and access policies, managing mailbox services, troubleshooting SSO/MFA issues, and maintaining hybrid identity environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with directory synchronization, email flow troubleshooting, and PowerShell automation, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Okta, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control across identity platforms.
- Configure and maintain Okta tenant settings, application integrations, and Single Sign-On (SSO) setups.
- Administer Azure AD objects, conditional access policies, MFA configurations, and group memberships.
- Support and manage Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange environments.
- Troubleshoot email flow, mailbox issues, and transport rules.
- Monitor service health, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain hybrid identity environments and directory synchronization (Azure AD Connect).
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for escalated issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise identity and messaging support.
- Strong knowledge of Okta administration and application integration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD (hybrid setups, conditional access, MFA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange administration.
- Understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with Azure AD Connect and directory synchronization.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Okta Certified Professional or higher.
