Job Role:
We are looking for a Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimized in technology and delivering the best user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as code updates, security patches, and database management
- Collaborate and resolve bugs or performance bottlenecks
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new features or infrastructure changes
- Monitor system performance, logs, and metrics to proactively identify and address potential problems
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure prompt response to critical issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and operations processes
- Maintain and update the knowledge base, SOPs, and issue resolution tracking system
- Identify areas for improvement in our support processes and recommend solutions
Requirements:
- Experience in Software development or production support with strong knowledge of SDLC.
- Strong understanding of server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, etc)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
