Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Guide project teams through the execution phase, ensuring adherence to agile or other relevant methodologies.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Client Engagement:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Communicate project progress, milestones, and potential issues to clients in a clear and timely manner.
Resource and Budget Management:
  • Allocate resources effectively, balancing client needs with project constraints.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring projects stay within financial parameters.
  • Provide reports and forecasts to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
  • Implement contingency plans to address potential challenges and minimize disruptions.
  • Navigate project complexities and find innovative solutions to unforeseen issues.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional software development teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, promoting professional growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP or Agile certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities and project scope.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, and experience adapting approaches to project needs.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and relevant technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed in a client-driven consulting environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
